Hinoki Cedar Wood Sheets
These thin sheets of Japanese cedar are generally used to grill items like fish, chicken and vegetables on a Konro, Shichirin or Hida Konro grill.
For best results soak the sheets in water for 5 minutes before use and place on top of foil on the grill. The cedar steams on the grill and imparts a rich smoky character to the food.
They can also be used in the oven under a roast or to cook whole / fillets of fish.
